Add-on works with Firefox 33.0 on one computer but on another computer, Firefox 33.0 says that add-on is incompatible.
I have a laptop and a desktop computer. Both are HP and both have recently been updated with the latest version of Windows 8.1 and Firefox 33.0. On the desktop, Norton Toolbar still works fine. However, on the laptop, Norton Toolbar is disabled and the Add-Ons webpage has a message saying that Norton Toolbar is incompatible with Firefox 33.0. Why is it compatible on my desktop but not on my laptop?
Chosen solution
hello, according to norton the toolbar is already compatible with firefox versions including the current release version. please run the norton liveupdate utility repeatedly & until all components are up-to-date. in addition make sure that the toolbar is enabled under firefox > addons > extension afterwards.

Are they both the updated version as per above link?.
If so then try enabling it.
Resolved.
Thank you.
