Modification request - Search and Form History

Hi,

Firefox options are currently set to include a checkbox for "Remember search and form history." I'd like to request that this be modified to two separate checkboxes: "Remember Search History" and "Remember Form History."

Why? Because some people want one but not both. I want to be able to fill in forms quickly at sites that I frequent. But I don't want the search bar regurgitating search phrases that I'm no longer looking for. Searches and forms are different situations and should be treated as such.

If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go:

  • Help (or Menu New Fx Menu > Help-29) > "Submit Feedback..."

Or use this link. Your feedback gets collected at http://input.mozilla.org/, where a team of people read it and gather data about the most common issues.
