I accidently disabled remembering passwords for sites and so now I have to retype in the password every time I loginto something I use daily. How do I enable the passwords? It wont let me check the box.

Chosen solution

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Never remember history).

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
  • Deselect: [ ] "Always use Private Browsing mode"
