Hello. I am a fan of Firefox's Reading List function. I dislike Pocket, since it belongs to another company other than Mozilla itself. I use Reading List function frequently, but I cannot sync my Android Firefox Reading List to my Desktop Firefox Reading List. Is there a solution for this issue, or is this going to be solved with upcoming update? Thanks for taking your time and answering.

1.Sign in to Firefox Sync on your Firefox Android device (Options > Settings > Sync) 2.Browse the Internet in Firefox and add items to your reading list, using one of the following methods: long press on a URL and select the "Add to Reading List" from the pop up menu. 3.press the options button, then select the Add to Reading List button in the pop up menu. 4.if Reader View is available for the current page, enter reader view and press the Add to Reading List button in the lower left corner. 5.Confirm the item is in your Reading List on Firefox mobile by opening a new tab (or selecting the current page's address bar) and swiping to the reading list view. 6.Create a new Firefox desktop profile ( https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles ) and sign in to Firefox Sync using the same Firefox Account used in step 1 above. 7.Open the Reading List sidebar (View > Sidebar > Reading List), and confirm the items from your Firefox mobile device appear on Firefox desktop. 8.Delete one of the articles from your Reading List on Firefox mobile (long press on the reading list item and select Remove from the pop up menu). 9.Confirm the article is removed from your Reading List on Firefox desktop.

Thanks for the answer. I tried what you said. I created a new desktop profile. Opened firefox. But all my about:config arrangements were gone by restarting the Firefox with this new desktop account. So I had to get Pocket removed by using about:config ; and also bring back reading list functionality using about:config. Okay. After that, I signed in to Firefox Sync. After syncing complete, I could not get Android reading list or I could not transfer desktop reading list to android. So, I failed in my try. Also, I noticed, on android firefox's sync options why there is not an option to Sync Reading List? That would solve the problem without the wizardry described above.

Hi, I am reusing this thread because I have the same problem.

I am using Firefox 42.0 in a Mac and I can't find the Reading List anywhere. I tried View>Sidebar but there is not an option to show the Reading List.

Is this functionality existing in the Mac desktop version of Firefox?

Many thanks.
