Is there a way to bi-directionally synchronize thunderbird calendar with outlook.com calendar?

Not that 'i have found. The best offering is to abandon the Microsoft proprietary centric service and use one that utilizes open standards. That would be all of them, including Apple, Only Microsoft stands alone is offering only their proprietary interfaces..
