can I play netflix with html5

more options

I have had a search and in May there seemed news about playing Netflix using html5 in firefox. I have tried but no luck. Is there any up-to-date info about this? Out of all the rubbish programs Microsoft have ever made Silverlight must surely be the worst (with the possible exception of Windows 10 Mail). I want to continue to use my aging netbook (good old xp!) for streaming, I am playing with linux but in the meantime I would love to get rid of the Silverlight crashes. Firefox 40 running on XP.

Firefox is all ready for HTML5 Netflix, however Netflix has not turned it on yet. They should soon so just keep Firefox up to date!
