Did you make sure that you allow the plugin-container process in your TM security software?

Hi cor-el, What is a plugin-container process?

The plugin-container allows to run plugins outside of Firefox to prevent problems with plugins from affecting (crashing) Firefox.

this is my problem, when I disable TM flash works fine, how do I fix it?

I see that my original post has an important mistake: FF only worked when TM was DE-activated.

In the time since I posted this I've only been using Chrome. After 2 days I checked my FF and found that it's now completely gone. There was a Windows Update after which FF asked me to pick a profile; I could only guess, and I guess, my guess was wrong. :(

Here's my new post: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1131429 FredMcD has made a suggestion I tend to try.

Co-rel - Thanks for the links...I'll take a look at them. As a dyslexic I need simple clear instructions (not the kind that Mozillazine gives)

Thanks to all!! :)
