Attempting to use older version of Firefox (required for work). 10.0.2 Entered username/password for Sync account, however it's also stipulating me for a recovery key. when I click on the "lost device" link, I receive the "Failed to connect to the server" error.

Chosen solution

hi alveron, the current sync system will only work with firefox version 29 & upwards. what you described there sounds like an older version (which used a different, now deprecated system of syncing data).
