Firefox is blocking me from signing into BT for my email and Google. It won't allow exceptions. Short of moving to Internet Explorer how do I deal with this?
I am being blocked by Firefox from BT sign in, Google, Yahoo, Duckduckgo and my own office Citrix sign in. Firefox will not allow me to make any exceptions
the message given on each occasion is along these lines:-
The owner of www.google.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.
This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to specify that Firefox may only connect to it securely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate.
Chosen solution
There is security software like Avast, Kaspersky, BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connections and send their own certificate.

Thank you for your reply. I wasn't able to find anything in Kaspersky which covered this, but did find advice to delete cert8, which solved the problem
Glad to help. Safe Surfing.
