address book not shown when compiling e-mail
Under tools Address book is shown with contacts.
When writing a e-mail the contact box is shown but without contacts or e-mail address. Only one address book shown, used to be multiple e-mail books.
How to rectify please so I can choose contacts to add to e-mail.
Thanks.
Steven.

This is probably due to the Cardbook add-on. Try running with only that add-on disabled. If that add-on is indeed the probem, you can contatc the author through amo by clicking the Support E-mail link.
If it's not that add-on, you can try disabling half of your add-ons to drill down which add-on is causing the problem.

click the all address books drop down... are their any address books listed?
Do things change is you restart with add-ons disabled from the help menu?

You have not said whether you have followed the instructions or read what Airmail pointed out in their post.
Restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled".
If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender.
Hello,
Have done a "Restart with Add-ons Disabled". and the address appear to have reappeared. Will monitor and advise any changes. Will not currently apply any AddOns.
Many thanks.
