Detail view for calendar entries

more options

If I have a calendar entry with the "details" pane filled out, location information, etc, there is no way to *view* the information without bringing the entry up in an *editor* window. It's especially troubling when it's a recurring entry and it asks if I want to edit the one occurrence or all of them. Actually, NEITHER of those, I just want to view the location and details information. It's there in the entry, the program provides a space to enter the information, but once it's there it's no longer accessible.

Either provide a view pane or popup, or just remove the ability to save the information, because it's worthless to have it their as it stands now.

Am I correct in presuming the calendar does NOT have this capability?

I find the information displayed in the tool tip I get when I select and hover over the even suffices.

Only briefly, usually goes away within a few seconds. It's especially un-helpful if you need to copy text from the details (such as a URL or meeting number for a web meeting)
