Hi nightstalkerk, Pkshadow mentioned this, but I thought I would give you a little more information. If you see a little "Reader View" icon in the address bar, next to the ••• icon, you can click that to simplify the article, stripping away sidebars and various nonessential content. This view has a text-to-speech feature.

Unfortunately, this feature doesn't work on sites that don't have a familiar article structure. You may need an add-on for many pages.
