How to permanently enable setting Request desktop site for every new tab or page open?

more options

Hello,

I am wondering is it possible to permanently enable setting Request desktop site for every new tab or page which is open? It is very tedious checking the same option in new tabs if you wish to browse in desktop mode. Considering the size of todays mobile phones and tablets it would be a useful option to have.

Thank you for your help.

Not sure if you found the following thread from last Summer. If you try the solution there, please let me know whether it still works.

I use a 12.2" Galaxy Tab. Need a way to automatically go to websites in desktop view, always.
