If it expired you can't go through that code... So you should try to Resend it from the site where you got earlier...

Delete the email chain and then request the code again. Maybe this will help to you.

Thank you. Tried all of these... The problem is that the email takes longer than 5 minutes to arrive. No amount of resending changes the underlying fact that a code with 5 minutes lifespan cannot be relied up through email channels.

Your question does not make sense within the context of the OP.

The code needs to arrive before it has expired. A code arriving after it has expired is of NO use. To be clear... This is not a question of how much time it takes to use a code.

Did you anyway try to use the code to see if it still works because the code might work longer then it says in the email ?

The codes eventually stopped coming through altogether. I decided to change my default email address using another machine already logged in to Firefox. For reasons unknown my login on my tablet went straight through with just a password (no need for a code).
