Hello Everyone,

I have just upgraded my email so it uses the same email address but with different email server settings. The one I have been using is roundcube webmail which uses IMAP and the new one is flockmail. Is there an easy way of keeping my old messages in thunderbird and integrating the new emails? I have managed to copy my profile with the old messages in it.

Roundcube wants me to individually export each email (yikes! as there are lots).

Can I just download with pop settings? (Not sure this will work for Roundcube as it is IMAP?) And then just use load the new server settings which can be IMAP?

Help!!!! Thank you in advance, Philippa

use the import export tools to export the imap folder as MBOX files. It will be slow. https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/importexporttools-ng/?src=ss Once exported you can import them again to local folders in Thunderbird and they will be permanently stored on your local device. This makes profile backup more important and the import export tools has a backup option as well.
