why is Firefox promoting censorship?

Why is it that Mozilla and Firefox are now promoting censorship? It seems to go against all that Mozilla Firefox (used to) stand for. Freedom is how we grow. Censorship promotes false vision of the world and cripples discernment, cognition, critical thinking and healthy growth. Censorship us thought control, which should be up to each individual. You know, the ideals of the internet?

Mozilla/Firefox is now pressuring Facebook to censor more, not less. Mozilla is now pressuring YouTube to censor more, not less. What happened? How can I fix it? Was Mozilla hacked?
Mozilla used to be a coordination of volunteers around the world helping each other. What happened!?!?!?
Is Mozilla getting funding from a big foundation now or something? (Who writes the checks makes the rules)
  How can we fix this?

hi, what is the premise of your question based on?

Hello Phillip, thanks for asking! You may have noticed that Mozilla started promoting and encouraging censorship, which shocked me deeply. I used to think of Mozilla Firefox as the opposite of the forces of thought control. It used to be, in my view, about world wide collaboration towards freedom and sharing information, expanding consciousness, unity, humanity. I see mozilla Firefox now encouraging Facebook to increase, not eliminate, the censorship of their logarithms. I see them encouraging YouTube to increase, not end, their vast censorship. Mozilla has a new program where they are asking people to tell why being exposed to free information and unfamiliar points of view is harmful. They populate their site with stories that may or may not be true about how harmful freedom and personal choice is. I think I recall that from Nazi Germany and the like. Now Mozilla?!?!? My guess is they have been hacked. Most likely through financial channels. That's a common way of corrupting instruments of the people's voice. "Sponsors". "Lobbyists". My guess is that the globalist Foundations (Rockefeller, Clinton, Gates, Soros, etc) have poisoned the well. They like to do that.

Is there something you can do to help with this? Possibly helping people become aware of this rather important problem?

Thank you for being part of the movement towards a free, awake, aware, and thriving planet, my brother. ✨

to be honest with you (from an european standpoint), your statement and assumptions come across as fairly entrenched from a particular corner of the us culture war. throwing in "nazi germany" and "globalist" well-poisoning into this weird mix doesn't facilitate a serious discussion either.

in case you want to read up on mozilla's mission statement and financials you can do so at https://www.mozilla.org/about/manifesto/ and https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/foundation/annualreport/2018/

since this site is about product support and not general discussion anyway, i'm gonning to close this thread.
