you must log in to this network before you can access the internet
Hi everyone,
I have this message that appears on every web page but my connection is fine: "you must log in to this network before you can access the internet". It appeared I don't know how (maybe after using my VPN?) and I can't get rid of it. Any idea?
In advance, thanks a lot.
Chosen solution
Hi, type about:config into the address bar, press Enter and accept any warning, then copy and paste the following into the search box network.captive-portal-service.enabled Now on the search result, click the Toggle button at the right-hand end to change from True to False. You may need to restart Firefox to implement the change. More - see under the Network Detection heading in How to stop Firefox from making automatic connections.

This worked for me. Wonder why it just started happening in the last few days?
It's been around 3 years before I found out this solution, PERFECT... Thank you
