Thunderbird disabling calendars when I close down and relaunch

more options

With the latest two installs, each time I restarted Thunderbird, i've had to go into my calendar and "hide" then "show" each of the calendars that I use. With the Nov 11 update, I saw that I had inadvertently installed the Lightning tabs addon. When I took that off, the calendar opened correctly. With the latest update (Nov 19) I am again having to first hide, then show each of my calendars to have them populate the calendar and sidebar calendar.

Any ideas?

Chosen solution

I had to completely uninstall then reinstall Provider and now it is working correctly.

Do you have the Provider for Google calendar add-on? Try disabling then enabling the add-on.

Google calendars can be synced without add-ons:

tried that and even rebooted the computer and when I close and then open Thunderbird the calendar items are missing.

Add the calendar again and sync with the network copy.

Did that. I removed all of the calendars, then added in a "new" calendar, selected the subcalendars and the items appeared. I then shut down TB and opened it back up. Same behavior.
