Body Text in Thunderbird
I have gone to Tools, Options, Composition and unchecked the box for "Use Paragraph format instead of Body Text by default". the problem is when I close Thunderbird and open again, it automatically goes back to Paragraph by default even though I unchecked that box prior to closing.
how do I make Body Text the default?
Chosen solution
Using Mozilla Firefox 78.11.0 (32-bit) under Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) and having the same problem. As suggested in another thread, with Firefox closed, I have added the following to prefs.js:
user_pref("mail.compose.default_to_paragraph",false); user_pref("mail.ui-rdf.version",17);
saved the file, restarted my pc, and opened Firefox. When going to Tools->Options, the option 'Use Paragraph format instead of Body Text' is again checked. Another thread said to click the "OK" box after changing the setting but I don't see an "OK" box.
How do I get the Body Text option to stay as the default?
