Firefox Developer Edition change version to Latest only currenctly its in beta version

So I am a web developer, is there a way to change the version of Firefox developer to the latest Firefox version? Because it is currently in beta version.

I am using Firefox developer for web development, and also for testing, and also for day to day web browsing. I just realized that the Firefox developer is a beta version, but our users use the latest version of Firefox. I believe this can be a problem when the development environment is not the same as the user's version.

If I install Firefox's official browser, it will be a waste of storage.

Just download the current version and uninstall the dev version... https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release

Then I will lose the feature of the Firefox Developer edition.

You stated that you were concerned about space... smh Just install both and make sure to install in a different directory.

what I mean is whats the point if installing both? If I can just use the firefox developer edition as my main browser for browsing and for developing websites.

what I like to know if theirs a way to downgrade the firefox developer edition to the "not beta" version but the latest stable version, because our user uses not the beta version.

I'm not Dev, but I would assume that it makes sense to have different versions for R&D. Which is why most of us here have most versions installed to test when users have issues in different versions of Firefox.

Good luck with your research on downgrading the Dev version to the current version... smh

Thanks anyway, it seems firefox developer will stay as beta version then. It seems I have no choice but to install firefox lts then.

Installing both does not take up that much more space. You will need to discourage regular Firefox from making itself the default browser (when it asks) if you want Developer Edition to remain your default browser.
