Timezone issue
The timezone on my Gmail and a few other sites automatically changes to Africa/Abidjan time on Firefox. This is not an issue with my device as I've checked the timezone on system preferences and it is correctly set to my local time. Additionally, the timezone appears to be correct on other browsers. I checked Firefox on another device and found the same problem.
Chosen solution
Do you have enabled "Resist Fingerprinting" if you check this pref on the about:config page?
- privacy.resistFingerprinting : should be false
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-protection-against-fingerprinting

Yes it seems to have worked. Is there anyway I can keep it on and only disable the timezone thing?
That is currently not possible. There have been and there are still quite a few bug reports for finer control of applicability of RPF and UTC Timezone Spoofing is among the most wanted.
- 1450398 - [meta] Resist Fingerprinting Mode should allow finer control of applicability
- 1364261 - Make UTC Timezone Spoofing optional when privacy.resistfingerprinting = true
- 1426232 - Consider a Timezone Permission for Resist Fingerprinting
- 1709867 - Apply fine-grained control of the RFP Timzezone Spoofing
The screenshot shows details of bug 1450398.
