Is Mozilla EVER going to add FIDO2 to Android?

Firefox Mobile is the only major browser that I am aware of that does not support FIDO2 U2F logins. I have seen TONS of requests and complaints about it not being supported, with the general answer being "tough s**t, deal with it." If Firefox cannot adequately support industry standard security practices it should be removed from the market. Using Firefox on Android explicitly reduces the amount of security your sessions have vs Chrome or Edge due to the failure of this feature to work. Firefox on Android is basically useless from a security point of view. Fix it or discontinue it. You either need to embrace security standards or stop making browsers.

Hi,

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or developers. If you want to leave feedback for developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Share ideas and feedback…. Alternatively, you can use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.

You can also file a bug report or feature request. See File a bug report or feature request for Mozilla products for details.
