when completing log in procedures, Firefox offers before i complete the entry the various usernames i have entered previously. I do not want to have this displayed. I´d rather have that feature disabled because I usually have the "remember the password" activated.

You can remove saved passwords here: Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"

Thanks, but removing the passwords is not the issue. What I want is to prevent Firefox from completing (or suggesting how to complete) the USERNAME. I still want my passwords to come up automatically once I enter the right USERNAME.
