Every time I enter my on line banking it asks me all 3 security Qs and I have to reset my computer here at home to private. I called my on line banking and they say it is the Fire Fox security settings. Can you help me not to have the process happen each time I open my on line banking???

Are you attempting to use Private Browsing to access your on-line banking website?

If not, what do you mean by - "... and I have to reset my computer here at home to private."

after answering all three security questions, I have to change my security setting from public to private. I have to do this each and every time when entering my online banking. The bank says it is the Fire Fox security settings. Now what do I do?

Where do you need to change those security settings?

Firefox doesn't have such a setting unless you mean Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history mode.

  • Create an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
  • In Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history mode all cookies are session cookies that expire if that session is ended, so websites won't remember you.

Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.

I restarted Firefox 4 after getting a reply to my last question. Now I cannot find the page with my question on. I go to the dashboard on my Forum name and it says no recent activity. Why is there not a simple internal way of returning.
