when I type a start letter in a goggle search I get a drop down of a bunch of places starting with that letter. How do I stop that from happening?

Are that search suggestions or search terms that you used in the past?

  • Click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop down list
  • Highlight an entry in the drop down list
  • Press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to remove it.
