I work in Firefox to support an application on my job. As a result. I must frequently clear both my cache and cookies. Unfortunately, banking sites require cookies to recognize you, or else they ask more sensitive questions to verify your identity. Is there a way to clear all cookies upon closing the browser with the exception of one cookie - the one the banking site provides?

Let all other cookies expire and create an allow exception to keep the cookies from that that site.

  • Tools > Page Info > Permissions
  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions
  • Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily if the Menu Bar is hidden.
  • Use "Firefox > Options" instead of "Tools > Options" if the menu bar is hidden.
