firefox for desktop crashes after clicking on icon to open app. tried to open firefox in safe mode... no changes. can not get to firefox browser opening splash page so help info is not available.

tried updating and reloading app... no change.

problem started o/a 12-23-11

using Google Chrome until firefox is fixed.
