In previous versions, I was able to highlight the first 3 or 4 lines of text of 2000 lines that I wanted to copy and paste into Excel, using ctrl, shift, down arrow. When I do it now, nothing happens. I sometimes have 2000 lines that I am wanting to copy and paste in Excel, currently I have to highlight from the top left then drag down forever to highlight everything I need. I can not use Select All, because it grabs the side pages and other information that I do not want on my spreadsheet. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I can use shift and page down, but that can take some time also. Would like to be able to use ctrl, shift, arrow down.

I started in Safe Mode, and disabled the Add-Ons, and it worked. So I need to go through my add-ons. Thank you, this was very helpful.

Does Shift+Ctrl+End work?

That should work unless you have a bar at the right side or code in the DOM.

Ctrl+Down doesn't have any effect AFAICS, so you may not remembering this correctly.

No I am sorry, I should have included that. Ctrl, Shift, End does not work either.

You may have switched on caret browsing.

You can press press F7 (on Mac: fn + F7) to toggle caret browsing on/off.

I have tried each combination, but no such luck.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
