How do I import an HTML bookmark tool bar into Firefox 16.0.2 running in Windows 8? I have the export HTML from the same version Firefox from Windows 7.

more options

I have a copy of Firefox running on a Windows 7 pro system. I exported the bookmark toolbar to a HTML file. On a Windows 8 pro system I tried to import the HTML file. It came in as a folder under the bookmarks tab but I wanted the bookmarks and bookmark sub-folders to replace the existing bookmark toolbar. How do I get the imported bookmark toolbar to take the place of the existing one? Thanks

You can delete the bookmarks in the current Bookmarks Toolbar folder and copy (or cut) and paste the bookmarks from the imported folder to the Bookmarks Toolbar folder.
