How do I get rid of adware which interferes with the log in process?
On Firefox start up, I get flashing warnings about malicious adware and warning not to open. Two notations are given 1. deliver.aadsrv.com and 2. cs.peepsrv.com. I don't allow access, virus scan says nothing is detected, but this persists

Hello,
follow the instructions below
- use the search reset tool => https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/searchreset/
- then do a scan with adwcleaner => http://general-changelog-team.fr/en/downloads/viewdownload/20-outils-de-xplode/2-adwcleaner
- and if neccesary delete a possible user.js file => https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-to-fix-preferences-wont-save#w_user-js-file-overriding-preferences
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.
