When I click on a link, this is displayed: ';} Is it because of my security settings?

The link is in our learning management system and not through a typical website. The link is meant to open up a web-based training course in a new browser window. Instead, the window opens and shows just these three characters in the upper left hand corner of the page: '; } Is it possible that this is resulting from an untrusted certificate or security settings? Or is it more likely to result from a plug-in problem?

What pop-up does Firefox show at the bottom of the window if you hover such a link?

What is the code used in such a link?

You can right-click on a web page and select "Inspect Element" to open the Inspector (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer) and check the page code.
