"... Firefox not accepting latest version of Flash Player ..." Firefox shouldn't keep you from installing Flash; Firefox needs to be closed before attempting to install Flash - Adobe rules for installing Flash.

Also, it seems that you have a real old version of Flash installed. Shockwave Flash 9.0 r45 Two versions of Flash Plugins installed may confuse Firefox as to which version to use.

You should download and run the Adobe Flash uninstaller program before attempting to install Flash. http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

Thanks but I tried it again. About the 10th time but it still doesn't recognize Flash as being downloaded. After installing and trying to play a video on BBC website it says 'I need to install Flash Player'. I've been trying now for 3 days and fro what I cane see on forums this seems to be a common problem with the latest Firefoy update. Any help? Cheers.
