example when i full screen a youtube video the tabs stays up with a minimal version of the exit/minimize buttons. this is extremely annoying and keeps me from enjoying anything video related. Ive loved Firefox forever and will stay with it but i dont want to have to go to chrome when ever i wanna watch a video. is there a way to fix this? i know its a new feature but still....

Does Hide Toolbars in the right-click context menu have a tick if you switch to full screen mode via F11?

ok so was on another computer and it does not do this... im not sure if mine is just strange or the other computer hasn't updated recenlty but still interesting. and to answer that either way nothing changes. both options keep it the same.

Is there any difference if you make Firefox full screen (using F11) before making the video full screen?

Does the problem occur with the HTML5 player or the Flash player? If you right-click the player, the last item on the context menu should reveal which one it is.

If you want to force Flash on YouTube these days, you may need an add-on such as https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/youtube-flash-video-player/
