netflix home page freezes and won't let me click on any of the movies or television shows?

when I open Netflix in Firefox it loads, but then the top of the screen says "not responding" for a few moments and then a box saying "unresponsive script" pops up, every time, until I close the box and attempt to watch a show by clicking on it but nothing moves and the show doesn't play it just stays on the Netflix homepage, I attempted to fix this problem by downloading an add on called " Yes Script" which stopped the box from popping up but I still cannot play movies or click on anything, I've tried updating my flash player and silver light but that didn't work either. Netflix does work in Google Chrome but Firefox is my favorite browser and I really don't want to go to chrome.

Ok that is not expected. Did Yes Script block the script by chance? If so it might be stopping the player. Try to toggle that setting and restart Firefox.

If that does not work, this can be tried next: Open about:permissions in a new tab. Search for the website url that is giving issues and select it. When you click "Forget the Site" all stored data from the site will be deleted. It means you will not be logged in and will have to log back in to try the video player.
