Wireless does not function well. Worked very well twice as far away when puter was XP

This is off topic.

Unplug the modem and wait at least 15 seconds. Then plug it back in. This should cause the modem to reboot.

After, try connecting to it as a new connection.

If there is still a problem, contact the modem website for help.
