I am getting Bounced messages back to the sender saying my mailbox is full. I Ive deleted many emails and it is still happening. I contacted my provider, suddenlink.net, who says this is a Thunderbird problem

I am getting Bounced messages back to the sender saying my mailbox is full. I Ive deleted many emails and it is still happening. I contacted my provider, suddenlink.net, who says this is a Thunderbird problem

Thunderbird has no quotas. Thunderbird has no facility to bounce messages. Email providers set quotas. Email providers servers bounce messages. Your providers help desk is staffed by idiots.

After deleting messages did you Compact your folders? If not do that.
