I really need to solve this problem. I am using a new Macbook Pro with Touchbar. Firefox crashes everytime the computer lid is opened after the computer has gone to sleep for a number of hours. I cannot recreate it by putting the computer to sleep, as the crash only happens when the lid is closed for many hours (like overnight). The Crash Reporter is on the screen when I open lid and login the morning. Therefore it is very hard to troubleshoot because it takes hours to make it happen. Any help would be appreciated as this is driving me crazy.

Hi, this seems to be caused by a bug, which hopefully will be fixed in an update - https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1320048

You could try disabling all your add-ons to test, in case one is causing it.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!

I continue to have the same problem on at least a daily basis. Is there an y solution. I have NO add-ons enabled anymore and Firefox crashes almost every time the Macbook "wakes up."

This could be the end of Firefox for me. It is completely intolerable.
