How to place signature switch (different signature) after my reply (not at bottom)

I have 3 different signatures. When I try to insert a different signature, other than the automatic one programmed, the signature is automatically placed at end of thread, despite all configurations asking to have signature placed above quoted text. Is there a fix or a configuration that is "hidden" somewhere?

I suspect the extension is ignoring Thunderbird's settings.

My advice would be to create separate identities for each different signature you want and when you switch identities the signature will be switched and inserted in the right position.

See this link for details on how to use multiple identities in Thunderbird.

Looks like the numerous identity option works fine. Thanx!

I do not use the signatures add on. The signature posts at the bottom of the thread rather than after my most recent comments. I only have one identity. Where in Thunderbird do you tell it to post after the comment and not at the bottom of the post?
