I use firefox as default browser on Ubuntu 16.04. I used Chrome before. I've configured firefox to open "mailto" links in gmail, but it works only when I click the link in browser. It does not work in pdf f.e. It's clear, because in system settings default mail client is Chrome and it opens every time I click "mailto" link in pdf. The problem is that I can't change it to Firefox in system settings. The drop-down menu does not contain Firefox. How to fix it?

Hi, no idea about Linux panel. You need to set Firefox up this way in Applications provided it has found your email program or something it can hook to to get the mailto option. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/applications-panel-set-how-firefox-handles-files

Hello, thanks a lot for answer. But it does not solve my problem
