Add a page to home screen
I'm guessing a restriction in Oreo 8 is not allowing any browser including Firefox to add a page to the home screen. I'm using Galaxy S9 plus and in Firefox under Page the shortcut is greyed out.

Hi
It should be possible to add sites, either as apps or as a shortcut, to your home screen. This article should help and does include a video of how to do it.
Hi that article is telling us how to use the page short cut, but I am telling you that in Android 8.0 Oreo, that is greyed out. Meaning its not an active button. That's why I said it seems Android 8.0 has caused this to happen. So to clarify further. You touch the three buttons at the top and then click on page and there you have 5 options and two are inactive buttons. Subscribe to page and Add page shortcut. Both are greyed out - non active.
Hi
Sorry about that. So that we can look into this further, what is the page where this is happening?
No it doesn't work and cant work. The add page shortcut is not an active button on Oreo 8.0. So please stop and read what exactly I have now written three times. And I'm not alone in this problem though there maybe certain android phones that it might work on. My Samsung Galaxy S9 plus isnt one of them. Thanks
Hi. I don't know about all browsers but I've been having a similar issue. Not on all sites but when I go to add a site to my homescreen nothing happens when I press the add but to. Maybe there's a bug in the current version???
