Ok, it is a pretty simple question.

"How do I force FF to reload a page?"

Searching I find:

Windows/Linux:

Hold down Ctrl and click the Reload button.
Or, Hold down Ctrl and press F5.

Which is not right from what I see.

If I press CTL and the reload button (which I take as being the one which looks like a near complete circle with an arrow turning clockwise.

It doesn't mention that it also opens a new tab.

However!

Pressing <CTL> <F5> it refreshes the page. Can't confirm that it is a forced reload.

Can someone help me clarify (and maybe fix the discontinuity in what does what?

Reload F5 Ctrl + R

Reload (override cache) Ctrl + F5 Ctrl + Shift + R

What if I want to do it with the button on the screen?

(See attached picture)

So why does this page (see attached) say it differently?

If you actually went to the page you would see the "Hold down Ctrl and click the Reload button" was for Chrome.

You can see the words: firefox how to force reload of page

Then: Windows/Linux: 1 - hold down Ctrl and click the Reload button.

Although it does (at the bottom) have the word Chrome, I read from the top to the bottom.

Ok.

From the GUI point of view it is SHIFT RELOAD.

Maybe some of the posts in this (old) thread will shed some light on it :
