When v67 is installed on windows 7/10 for an existing firefox user, a notification pops up on first launch indicating that 'This installation of Firefox has a new profile. It does not share bookmarks, passwords and user preferences with other installations of firefox..'. Is there a way to turn this notification off so that users do not get confused.

I'm not seeing a way to prevent this page from showing on a new install when no profiles are present yet and a new profile got created if I check the source code (this is done before browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone is checked). This is the newInstall page.

Can this be an option in the next release where the notification can be turned off?

If this is about deploying Firefox in an organization then I can move the thread to Firefox for Enterprise to see whether Mike Kaply has suggestions.

This message is only displayed when there aren't any profiles present and also no profiles.ini.

Yes, this is for deploying in the organization. I would appreciate it if you could move this over to the enterprise forum for Mike Kaply to comment for the request. Thank you.
