hello I have been using firefox recently and I wanted to know if there was protection against auto downloads, a few days ago I was browsing a site and by mistake I click a download link of a .zip file but in reality it was an apk file, check su viruatotal and it was malware. I would like to prevent things from happening in the future, it would be possible to have a window where the file name is written before the download like on chrome ?.

Hi

There is no way that I am aware to protect against this, other than to long press on the link to see where the link is going, and to be careful when browsing.
