horizontal scroll bar is missing/windows 10
The horizontal scroll bar is missing. I have fixed this in the past by restarting Windows Explorer, but it did not work this time (or course I have rebooted the computer as well.) Maximizing the window doesn't help, nor does maximizing and then returning to the standard view. The window is up at the top of the screen. Fooling around with the size of the window helped briefly, but the window needed to be quite small both horizontally and vertically, and it went away again after a few minutes. There are so many different suggestions when you Google this problem. Some are old, and I can't spend hours going through dozens of suggestions. I'm hoping that someone has had an fixed the problem more recently. Has anyone found this to be a Windows rather than a Firefox problem?

Make sure you run Firefox in desktop mode and not in tablet mode.

Is it possible that the page wasn't wide enough to require horizontal scrolling?
A horizontal scroll bar only appears when the page is too wide to fit on the monitor width as set in the Windows OS as related to your video drivers.
