Something has updated and I have lost all of the email folders I have built up over the last 8 years or so, I can't even access all the thousands of deleted emails, nothing. I have tried doing stuff with "profiles" but no joy so far, can anyone make this simple?

Generally when folk lodge a complaint like yours it is their anti virus blocking access to the mail server and hence nothing can synchronize. The accepted approach to confirm this is to restart the operating system in safe mode with networking as this is a limited startup without things like anti virus, VPN's and software firewalls.

Thanks Matt, but why would that suddenly happen when I've had no issues for 8 years at least, and on this pc I haven't changed any settings in the last year at least?
