Outgoing server settings
I was having trouble with my Thunderbird folders and reinstalled the program. Now I cannot send emails. I receive emails, but I can't seem to find the correct email server address for Time Warner Cable (TWC) I have tried mail.twc.com smtp.twc.com and several others.
When I attempt to send an email, it just sits there trying.

I suggest you check with your email provider. That may be Spectrum?

I tried that and all I got from them is that we don't do support for other platforms. They suggested I go to their website for help documents regarding Thunderbird. Their suggestions on that document didn't help.
There are several settings that seem to work with TWC. Try mail.twc.com on port 587 with Connection security = None, authentication = password, transmitted insecurely and User name = email address. Or, mail.twc.com on port 587 with Connection security = STARTTLS, authentication = normal password and User name = email address. Or, mail.twc.com on port 465 with Connection security = SSL/TLS, authentication = normal password and User name = email address.
