firefox keeps sending me to the https port when I type an address.

I have a DSL router and can not talk to it. It does not support https protocols but when I put in the address 192.168.0.1/status.html it changes it to https:192.168.0.1/status.html. This is a laptop and I have talked to another route that uses https at the same address but at a different location. How do I stop it from doing this?

Does the error page say that the site is requiring HTTPS (strict transport security)?

If not, does a full link work:

http://192.168.0.1/status.html
