Usually this popup appears when Ctrl + d is clicked. Something is blocking your Ctrl button.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to the Firefox Support Forum. I understand that you're experiencing an issue where a bookmark popup box appears when you type the letter between 's' and 'f' in the search box.

To troubleshoot this issue, I recommend trying the following steps:

Clear your Firefox browsing history and cache. You can do this by going to the Firefox menu, selecting 'History,' and then clicking on 'Clear Recent History.' Make sure to select 'Everything' in the time range and check the boxes for 'Browsing & Download History' and 'Cache.'

Disable any browser extensions or add-ons temporarily to see if the issue persists. You can do this by going to the Firefox menu, selecting 'Add-ons,' and then disabling the extensions one by one.

Reset your Firefox settings to default. You can do this by going to the Firefox menu, selecting 'Help,' and then choosing 'Troubleshooting Information.' In the new tab, click on the 'Refresh Firefox' button.

If the issue still persists after trying these steps, please provide more information such as the version of Firefox you're using (e.g., Firefox 114.0.2) and any relevant details about your operating system (e.g., Windows 10).

Other community members or Mozilla volunteers may also have additional suggestions to help resolve this issue. We're here to assist you further, so please feel free to provide more details or ask any questions.

Best regards, Suram Firefox Support Volunteer
