I have been a Thunderbird user for years. I check email from my phone, browser, etc. with no problems. Recently, Thunderbird never connects to email server. I use Thunderbird to store my old messages. When this started, I downloaded the most recent Thunderbird and got the same results. I have changed nothing in my setup. I get "scubadug@netzero.net: Host contacted, sending login information..." message, which apparently eventually times out.

More info... I am running a Windows 7 Pro (64 bit) w/SP1 computer and Thunderbird 115.1.1 (64-bit). FWIW... I am getting Win7 updates thru the end of this year even though it is out of support. Processor is i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz and 32GB RAM.

OK... never mind. After a reboot it not works as before. Should have been the first thing I tried! Duh!!!
