the plugin container for firefox continuously stops working when on youtube. please help

You can disable plugin-container to see if that solves your problem.

This article explains the function of plugin-container and how to disable it: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Plugin-container_and_out-of-process_plugins

If you disable plugin-container

  1. you must restart Firefox to close plugin-container that is already running
  2. if one of the plugins managed by plugin-container crashes your whole browser will crash, not just the tab running the plugin
